Routes and Rides

Dumfries and Galloway has plenty of fantastic routes to try, from short journeys in Town to longer routes into the beautiful countryside. Our towns are ideally sized for cycling with key locations only a bike ride away. You can also take part in numerous social rides throughout the region.

Dumfries is relatively compact and there are quick short cuts that often help you reach your destination faster than by car. Social Rides
The CTC is the UK's national cyclists' organisation. The CTC in Dumfries and Galloway run regular social rides for all abilities. Find out more about the local CTC and view a group ride list on their website.
